TrainStation Players Raise Over €35,000 for a UK Heritage Railway

Sometimes, a game can go far beyond the screen – and this is one of those moments.

Thanks to the incredible passion of the TrainStation community, players from around the world have raised over €35,000 to support the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway in Devon, UK, as part of the second season of our Save The Rails initiative.

A Real Impact on a Real Railway

The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway is more than a historic line – it’s a living project powered by a dedicated community of volunteers, engineers, and railway enthusiasts. Every day, they work to restore track, maintain steam locomotives, and keep a unique piece of British railway heritage alive for future generations.

Thanks to your support through the special in-game Charity Packs in TrainStation 2 and TrainStation 3, this railway now has meaningful financial backing to continue its preservation and day-to-day operations. This is exactly what Save The Rails was created for: connecting our love for trains in-game with real-world railway heritage.

Powered by Our Community

What makes this achievement truly special is who made it possible. TrainStation players didn’t just collect a unique locomotive – they chose to support something real. Thousands of you joined this journey, proving once again that our community is built on shared passion, curiosity, and respect for railway history.

From everyone at Pixel Federation and the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway: thank you. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and love for trains made this season unforgettable.

The Journey Continues

Save The Rails is far from over. This initiative will continue, and new heritage railways will soon be waiting for support from the TrainStation community.

If this season showed us anything, it’s that when train lovers come together – amazing things happen.

🚆 Stay tuned. The next chapter of Save The Rails is already on the horizon.
