Save The Rails - Season #1: Cierny Hron Railway
Fellow train enthusiasts, welcome to the first season of Save The Rails — our charity initiative connecting the virtual world of TrainStation with real railway preservation.
We launched this initiative with the historic Čierny Hron Railway — and thanks to you, it was a great success. Between April 14 and April 28, 2025, our community raised €15,373 (≈ $17,428) for the railway. Every cent will go towards maintenance, operations, and preservation of this unique heritage line — helping ensure it stays alive for future generations of train lovers.

How Save The Rails Works
Save The Rails connects gameplay with real-world impact through special charity packs in TrainStation 2 and TrainStation 3.
Here’s how it works:

We partner with a real heritage railway that needs support.

A unique charity pack is released in TS2 or TS3, featuring a special in‑game locomotive inspired by the railway.

Players purchase the charity pack, collect the locomotive, and enjoy exclusive content.

100% of proceeds go directly to the real railway to support restoration and preservation efforts.
